Profile Summary

Julia Angel, Ph.D. is a junior researcher and member of the Quantum Devices and Technology research group. She earned her doctorate in 2019 from Hokkaido University, Japan, while simultaneously working as a junior research associate at RIKEN Nishina Center, Japan (2016-2019). For her doctoral study, she carried out muon-spin relaxation (µSR) measurement on pyrochlore iridates. Since then, she has been interested in other magnetic and advanced materials.
